Rod Aycox is the
CEO of Select Management Resources which operates LoanMax and other title loan
stores across the country. Rod Aycox started off as an insurances and used car
salesman until he came up with the idea of ‘quick and easy’ loans. He founded his
first company in 1990 in Jonesboro, Georgia at the young age of 24. Since then,
his company quickly grew and now operate in over 20 states nationwide. Through
his great success, Rod Aycox has always believed in contributing to each
community that he serves. By doing this, Rod has donated to over several
different organizations around the world to help everyday people like you and
I.
Back in 2006, He
donated to the Lutheran Community Food Ministry. The Lutheran Community Food
Ministry is a ministry that serves approximately 200 people per day. This
allows individuals the opportunity to come get a hot meal along with a warm
smile and safe place to rest. Over all, this has helped serve over 1,000,000
meals to the homeless in Atlanta.
Then, in 2011
Rod Aycox donated to the tornado relief efforts. This was the largest and one
of the deadliest tornado outbreaks ever recorded occurred, affecting the
Southern, Midwestern and Northeastern United States and leaving a catastrophic
destruction in its wake. In total, 348 people were killed and in Alabama, 238
Tornado-related deaths were confirmed by the Storm Prediction Center (SPC).
Also, every year
around Christmas, Rod donates to Toys for Tots which is an organization ran by
the United States Marine Corps Reserve. The organization is set up to help
distribute toys to children whose parents are less fortune and cannot afford to
buy them gifts for Christmas. Rod goes as far as setting up drop boxes in his
offices to allow others to help donate.
And it doesn’t
stop there, just earlier this year on June 17, a mass shooting took place at
Emmanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in downtown Charleston, South
Carolina. During a prayer service, nine people were killed by a gunman, Dylan
Roof. Rod Aycox responded to the tragedy in Charleston by donating a big sum of
money to the Civil Rights and Religious Groups.
For
over 25 years, Rod continuously works to create positive change in our society
through his work as the founder of Select Management Resources and its other title
loan stores throughout the nation. Rod
Aycox has proven to operate as a trusted member of each community that he
serves and continues to give to those who are in need. His kindness shows
naturally through his countless contributions and for that we thank you for all
you do Mr. Aycox!
