LoanMax and Rod Aycox Fight

Rod Aycox has always been a giving man. Rod Aycox is a man who started from nothing, he had an idea and he put all his effort into seeing it succeed. Well, succeed it did. Rod opened up a little store in Georgia and it has grown into Select Management Resources, the parent company of LoanMax, LoanStar, Atlanta Title Loans, Alabama Title Loans and other title loan companies that employ over 700 people across the nation. His title loans give people an option that traditional lenders cannot provide, his title loans are known for being quick and easy, they don’t check your credit, you can use your car title as collateral and still drive your vehicle.

Rod has donated to many organizations over the years. In September of 2006, Rod Aycox Companies announced its sponsorship of $10,000 to a scholarship fund at the National Action Network’s Social Justice Revival in Augusta, Georgia for students who choose to study social justice. The Social Justice Revival is devoted to creating a network of people who will work together with civil rights organizations to fight for social justice. Rod Aycox wants to empower future leaders through education.

Then, in October of 2008, Rod Aycox’s LoanMax announced its sponsorship of the Fourth Ward Health & Educational Center for Youth, Inc. in Houston, Texas.  The Fourth Ward Center was built in what was formerly called Freedman’s Town by lifelong resident Darrell Patterson in 1970. Mr. Patterson still manages the center. It helps organize transportation to the nearest Boys and Girls Club, hosts youth sports teams and their tournaments, and allows local children the opportunity to use a library and computer facilities.

The Fourth Ward Center is committed to helping the youth of the community with everything from homework to sports to participating in community services to help the town. Mr. Patterson shares the goal to empower the youth in the community with Mr. Aycox. Rod Aycox is happy to support the Fourth Ward and its hard work with the children of Houston.

Rod Aycox is passionately committed to helping the youth across the country. He knows that they are the future and wants to be sure they are given every opportunity to thrive in this world.
