Rod Aycox's First Company

Rod Aycox was a simple graduate who began working as an insurance and used car salesman. That was until the creative mind of Roderick Aycox came into play, at just 24 years old he founded his first company in the town, Jonesboro, GA. As you know, starting your own business at a very young age is not an easy task but that was not going to stop Mr. Aycox. Rod had a passion to always want to help those who were in need which is what eventually led him into the money lending industry. In the late 1990’s his hard work paid off! He soon opened company outlets and expanded his business at a very quick pace which ultimately led him to helping those all throughout the nation.

In the recent months, The George Washington Carver Community Center faced mounting expenses due to the temporary closing in September for restructure. Rod Aycox, The CEO of Select Management Resources which is the operator to LoanMax, Midwest Title Loans and North American Title loans donated a considerable amount to help with operating expenses, such as utilities. Rods donation will also be used to aid reorganization and fundraising efforts as the board works to get Carver community on solid financial footing.

The George Washington Carver Community Center is known for its arts and recreation center that nurtured the talents of thousands of young people, including icons such as comedian Richard Pryor and Olympic basketball player Carla Mcghee. The Carver Community Center has been around since 1922 when a group of women formed the “Colored Women's Aid Club” to save area youth from the dangers in the street. The Iconic institution is a wide public magnet high school with specialized courses and curricula.

Their overall mission is to provide foster and encourage recreation, education, and principles of good citizenship among the youth and adults of the community. The George Washington Carver Community Center greatly appreciates Rod Aycox's support and hopes that Rod Aycox's donation will attract others from around the community to help contribute.
