Rod Aycox is a proud sponsor of Toys for Tots. He is one of America’s most successful business man, known to be the pioneer for quick and easy loans. Rod is the CEO of Select Management Resources which is the parent company for LoanMax, Midwest Title Loans and North American Title Loans. Rods business helps provide cash-strapped customers with the funds they need without any hassle or credit checks. Rod Aycox business fills a void left behind by banks and credit unions unable or unwilling to provide high risk loans to those who don’t have good credit. LoanMax and its affiliated companies have more than 1,000 stores that operate in over 20 states nationwide. Rod Aycox not only helps people through his business but those throughout each community he is a part of. Every year Rod makes a donation to the Toys for Tots and places bins outside his many stores throughout the country to try and encourage others to donate to such a wonderful cause.

The organization since 2011 have collected more than 16.7 million toys to help distribute to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. Rod Aycox focus has always been on education and the welfare of the youth especially throughout the holidays. Just last year, Rod donated to the Big Brothers and Big Sister for their annual Mahoning Valley Christmas Party. More than 150 local children were provided with winter coats and hats. They were also treated with Christmas gifts, dinner and a visit from Santa!

As you can see, Rod is like a guardian angel in the business suit. He helps protect people in desperate need of money and even supports various charities throughout the states; not too many business men can say they have done all that! He has brought forth immense positive change in the lives of Americans across the US. Rod Aycox's Payday Loans

With every great success, there will always be haters and critics. Rod Aycox is the CEO of Select Management Resources which is the parent company to LoanMax, Midwest Title Loans, North American and many other title loan stores across the country! Since 1990, Rod has taken a lot of backlash from critics regarding his businesses throughout his career. However, I have done much research on my own and found that he has actually done a lot of good deeds for people across the country!

Rod Aycox’s business only deals with title loans, which are very different from pay-day loans. Critics often times like to confuse the two. A title loan is a type of secured loan where the borrower can use their vehicle title as a collateral. This allows the borrower to receive quick cash while still optioning their vehicle. This has helped many Americans due to the fact that most are not able to get a loan through traditional lending options due to poor credit. Rod believes that just because you have bad credit, doesn’t make you a bad risk! All you have to provide in order to receive a loan is a clear title to your vehicle and copy of your ID.

Title loans also have a bad reputation due to high interest rates. However, when used correctly they can be a great asset to society. Title loans are built for long-term use in case that is what the consumer needs BUT they are meant to be utilized for only a short time. Rod has said before that he doesn’t deal with impoverished America, he deals with hard-working Americans who are in desperate need for cash and he provides that for them.
Rod Aycox doesn’t just help out his fellow customers across the country. He has provided well-paying jobs and medical benefits to over 700 employees and their family nationwide. He believes in giving back to each community that he serves. Rod Aycox has been known to donate over 5 million dollars to different charities and organizations around the world.

Whether you are for Aycox or against him, from what I gather he has ultimately done a lot to make a difference throughout the country. Rod Aycox success has hit over twenty states nationwide in the last 25 years in the money lending industry. I commend Mr. Aycox for all the hard work he has not only put into his business but each community. I say, forget the haters and keep on doing you, Rod!

Rod Aycox Mentors Youth

I grew up in the Norfolk, Virginia. My mom was always in and out of jail, so my dad was my sole caregiver. Tommy, my dad started off working in insurance but moved his passion to be a used car salesman about 2 years ago. When he made his job change, there was not much time for us to hangout, anymore. My dad regularly worked from sun up to sun down! His job consisted of giving cash-strapped customers a good deal on used vehicles. He would also give out loans on the used vehicles and keep the title for a collateral. That way when the borrower paid their car off, my dad would give them the title to their vehicle back. My dad loved his job. He loved helping people, however he constantly dealt with rude customers who could no longer afford their vehicle due to hardship and high interest rates. Before I knew it, my dad had been there for a year and my life was taking a turn for the worst!

I was part of the inner-city youth. My dad was never home so I started stealing and selling drugs at the young age of 12 to get extra money. Before I knew it, it became a lifestyle for me. I was in and out of juvenile and the path I was taking wasn’t going to lead me anywhere I wanted to be.  I was slowly turning into my mother, someone I never thought I would become. I knew I had to turn my life around, not only for myself but for my father, who worked so hard every day just to put a roof over my head.

I realized all this thanks too Reverend Elder M.L Brooks. Reverend Elder M.L. Brooks is part of the Blood of Lamb Church that is based in my hometown of Norfolk, Virginia. Reverend Elder not only a friend but my mentor. He provided support for the inner city youth through grass-roots efforts. He made me see that I was just a simple victim of my own environment, one of apathy, greed and lack of academic importance in life. I realized I became influenced by the negative influences that were constantly tempting me, such as drugs, violence and crime. I am so thankful for Reverend Elders and people like him that help run such a fantastic organization!
